King of the Air Update by Ruben Len10

WOW... what a start!! The organisation decided to go ahead with the first round of the event as soon as the wind picked up a little by 5.30PM. It was quite a challenge to pull off some big moves in the given conditions.

Luckily I was pretty powered with my Best Kiteboarding LEN10 Extract 11m prototype that I had never ridden before but there were some big lows in the wind, which made the impact on the body quite hardcore.

Taking all that risk wasn't for nothing tho, I came out on top in my heat so I progressed immediately to heat 11 in round 3.

Good vibes during the skippers meeting..

Great crowd on a Wednesday afternoon..

Judging panel... on the job.

Red Bull stepping things up for this years event and spreading our passion into the world. WAYO! Thanks for this awesome opportunity and platform.

All in all a fun afternoon and now the wait is on for the wind to really kick in to step up the game. Saturday will be the day to go big and extreme!

Thanks for all the awesome messages and support, I really appreciate it and it puts a smile on my face! Keep 'em coming please!

Big up to Mother Nature, my body, my team, Best, Red Bull, Mystic, WOO Sports, ALOHA, Skycatch, Inc., WeTransfer, all media and everyone else contributing and spreading the positive vibes!!!
