Joe Millen from Adrenaline Rush Sports Australia, the Best distributor for Australia, dropped by to see some accounts, help out and ride the west coast. Joe brought over the 6'0 surfboard for Pete to test out on the waves, so the first day we tried to shoot from a friend's boat at the point.

The conditions were kind of messy, with small waves, so Joe rode the inside flat water on his HP. Joe was stoked to be on the West Coast, riding on no sleep after arriving a few hours earlier from the East.

It was decided to head elsewhere to catch some small waves on the surfboards so Pete could test out some fin variations on the 6'0. The surf was pretty small and the wind was light as we tried a few photos on the inside reef section. Pete was really happy with the 6'0 surfboard, especially in the lighter wind.

The following day saw the conditions trough out and the flies invade the area as Joe went to meet up with his account G Spot Extreme Sports in Gerladton. Tim from G Spot has all the latest Best Gear in stock so it was great for the boys to talk shop and hang out.

The wind was still light as the boys headed to the point to shoot a quick feature video on the new Guroo school kite and meet up with local instructor Lindsay who was teaching near by.

With no wind and no waves on the forecasts for a few days the call was made to head south the next day to see Best's newly crowned KPWT World Champ Kristin Boese. A Big thanks to Pete for all is help and his countless hours trying to run me over in the water.
More soon from Harry Butler, Jr.
