Tarfia Gathering : 2012 Gear Demo week.
We've just received two new videos from the Tarifa Gathering. There's a fair bit of jumping and hopping and popping in them as riders get to grips with the new TS and GP kites in typically Tarifa gusty conditions. We hope you enjoy them as much as we did.

Boom- it's over. after a long week of kiting, demoing and partying we are done and all back to work again. You can catch the last update below and also on our Facebook page. We'll also be updating the photo gallery with the last images from your riding and partying.
Tarifa BEST gear 2012 demo week: The end
The week in Tarifa was simply GREAT! We had a lot of wind everyday, on some days the strong and quite gusty Levante was blowing from 25-40 knots on other days we head stable 20-25 knots. It was perfect to test all the 2012 product line up. Our dealers from France Greg and Philippe, Tadas from Lithuania, Tom from Norway were there and a lot of Best friends were joining the Best holidays in Tarifa. We stayed at the Nipa Hut near the Valdevaqueros Beach where we had nice evenings after kiting all day together and a great BBQ on Saturday night.
On the first day we went to the lagoon near the los Lances beach, tried all the bigger sizes of the Kahoona, TS and GP. The next day in the morning Peter presented to the dealers and the best buddies the new 2012 product lineup. After lunch we went to Punta Paloma beach. The wind was blowing between 25-30 knots; sunshine and people from Norway, Russia, Lithuania, France, Switzerland, and Germany were riding with us! Our new global team rider Leander Vyvey joined us also and rode on his TS. Everybody had a great time on the water and enjoyed the demo day!!
The next day we went to Palmones, a spot near Gibraltar, with about 20 knots less than in Tarifa, where Levante was blowing with nearly 40 knots! So when we arrived everybody couldn’t wait to try the bigger sizes of the 2012 kites. There were a lot of 7, 8,9 and 10 TS on the water, people were testing the GP without taking a break and the Kahoona and Nemis were on the water as well. Leander joined us again and was doing some nice freestyle on the GP and TS. Everybody was in a great mood, being able to test the TS in a quite stable wind and being amazed about its performance,good responsiveness and fast turning speed!
The next day, after having coffee in the morning we headed to a new spot to show our Best friends - Caños de Meca, a 40 minutes drive from the Nipahut Hotel. When we arrived we were the first who pumped up the kites and Levante was blowing around 25 to 30 knots. We were testing mostly 5.5 TS, 7,8 Kahoonas and some GPs.
Levante was blowing even stronger the next day, there were around 40 knots and it was quite gusty. We went to the Valdevaqueros Beach, bumped up the smallest kites we had, a lot of 5.5m TS, 6m or 7m Kahoonas and 7m GPs and made the best out of the strong wind. Even in those extreme conditions the guys were happy with the performance of the kites.
The last days of the ride with us demo week we had great days with constant 20 knots at Valdevaqueros Beach. To sum up we had everyday wind in Tarifa, we were able to test all the 2012 product line up and had a lot of fun with all the Best friends - couldn't have been better for such a demo week!!!
