RV SUMMER TOUR 2007: The Triple S, Cape Hatteras: Kristin wins overall in Women's Division

Well, the Triple S has finished and what a great event. After a few stormy days of variable winds, the final 2 days saw the return of strong SW winds and epics conditions in the slick.

The RV traveled up to Kitty Hawk to shoot the team up there on the sliders and freestyle after a “rest day” the day before. The rest day allowed all the riders and Real staff a chance to catch up after a crazy first few days riding. It also gave the RV crew (Miguel and I) a chance to clean up and take advantage of the giant clothesline outside of the bus.
Andy was ripping for the camera when Elliott was filming, while Miguel, Will, and Sean rode the flats. Then we all headed back to the slick to get the wind change and watch the crew ride the camel toe slider.

The next day was probably one of the best days of the event wind wise, with steady 11m weather from the SW and perfect conditions for the early morning camel toe session. All the crew were ripping the camel toe with Dre and Damien LeRoy killing it!

Kristin was busy riding for photos as well as hitting the camel toe after a big week of riding up and down the Hatteras coast.
The closing party was above and beyond, with Trip’s sister coming out to cater for the riders and sponsors with the sounds of the Red Bull DJ. Keg Stands all round before the prize giving followed by a wild night at “Bonzia”.
A big thanks to Trip and Matt and all the Real staff for being so friendly to us throughout the event. This would have to be the coolest, most relaxed friendly event that we have been to. Good people, great wind, sick riding in all conditions, wild parties and much more ... I can’t wait to return next year and be part of it!
Congrats to Kristin Boese and Andre Phillip for winning their overall divisions and to all the other riders for pushing kiteboarding to the next level.
