04/08/07: Kristin Boese releases new book: "Kitesurfing with Kristin Boese, The Training Program of the World Champion"

Dies ist eines der ersten deutschsprachigen Bücher zum Kitesurfen. Mittlerweile ist Kitesurfen zum absoluten Trendsport geworden - immer mehr Menschen bestaunen die Sportler, wenn diese mit Surfbrett und Drachen atemberaubende Kunststücke auf dem Wasser und in der Luft vollbringen. Neben den Grundlagen des Kitesurfens und allgemeinen Empfehlungen finden Einsteiger wie auch Profis in diesem Buch Trainingsmethoden und Manöver von einfachen Richtungswechseln bis zu kniffligen Tricks. Only available in German language so far, Kristin Boese and sport professor Christian Spreckels just brought out a kitesurfing book about the training program of the current World Champion. One of the first German books about kitesurfing, this book is made for beginners as well as advanced kiters. It teaches tricks from simple tacks to very difficult tricks, and mental training and preparation for the upcoming season or session are also factored in. A book that definitely inspires and gives an insight into the fascination kite-surfing. Kristin Boese is professional Kiteboarder. She started kiting in 2002 and became PKRA World Champion in 2005 and 2006. Therewith she is current world champion in this trendy sport that constantly grows and grows. Christian Spreckels on his site works at the University Hamburg and already brought out a book about teaching tennis to children. He is an enthusiastic kite-boarder himself.
