Arriving to Israel:

There is one international airport in Israel-" Ben- gurion" airport in Tel Aviv. The distance from the airport to- Mediterranean, Beit yanay- 50km Sea of Galilee- 135km

Each of the locations offers much more then kite surfing (or any type of surfing). Israel is full of historic sights; spiritual\ religious centers and spectacular exclusive scenery so you're perfect surfing vacation can tern into a great family experience.

Getting anywhere in Israel is possible in few ways- renting a car, taking the bus, the train or a taxi.Since Israel is a rather small country all of the ways are easy and fun! All transportation is provided at the airport:Car rent- car rent counters are located on the 1st floor of the east gallery in the reception hall.The services are provided 24\7.

Train services- at the lower level S from the reception hall. Train ticket machines are located on level G.Bus station- on the bridge, level 2 next to gates 21, 23. The best way to get to any of the three locations is to take the 475 bus to Tel Aviv central bus station, cost of 12nis. On the way back- an airport shuttle is provided from the bus stop to the terminal.

Taxi services are available outside the airport; make sure you use an airport authority taxi.

Kiteaway beit yanay center- Mediterranean: Arriving to beit yanay is fast and simple With a rented car, from the airport take road 1north (to Tel Aviv) merge to road 20 north then to road 2north to beit yanay exit. With a train its best to go to arlozorov train station in Tel Aviv, from there take the 852\ 872 bus to beit yanay intersection, the bus comes every half hour from 6:30am to midnight. With a bus from the airport to Tel Aviv central bus station, take 852/ 872 to beit yanay intersection. A taxi tariff to beit yanay is approximately 200nis.

Wind statistics:

northern wind, which creates the best conditions in beit yanay, blows mainly between March- June and September- November. July- august-, low sea breeze wind. During winter time- very high precipitate wind and high water. The wind in beit yanay changes according to the season- north wind between seasons and south or south west wind in the summer. Temperature- November- march 15-20dgrees, water temperature 21dgrees.March- June 25-27dgrees, water temperature 24dgrees. July- October 30dgrees, water temperature 28dgrees. The conditions in beit yanay are suitable for beginners, and professional surfers as one. Most of the time, the sea condition in beit yanay is choppy. Sea of Galilee

See of the Galilee is defiantly 1 of the most consistent places in the world for strong wind, it is sweet water lake perfect place to start kiting and very different feeling Kiteaway center is bases on the east side of the lake Going up north is possible in several ways- Rented car- recommended having a map or g.p.s with you. The drive takes about 2 hour to get to the north-east side of the sea, since it's the only sea in north of Israel- seeing it on the map is easy. Going by car allows you to stop on the way and admire the scenery.By bus its best to take the 843 bus from Tel Aviv central station to "dugel" beach. The tariff is approximately 49nis. By special taxi- for higher budget, approximately 500nis.
