2007 PKRA Final Results: Best Finishes in the Top 3: Alvaro #3, Bruna #2!

Posted Wednesday 10th October

After a gruelling 9-stop season, which started in Venezuela on April 17th and finished in Chile on Oct 6th, the 2007 PKRA World Tour has finally come to an end. World Champions have been named, and the riders can finally head home, rest, heal, take a breather ... and start training for 2008.

A big congratulations goes out to Best Team Rider Extraordinairre Alvaro "Tiger" Onieva who successfully continued his climb towards the top of the World Freestyle Ranking, finishing an impressive 3rd overall (up from a #4 overall ranking in 2006), behind Aaron Hadlow (#1) and Kevin Langeree (#2). Alvaro is also the 2007 Slider World Champion and the 2007 Board-Off World Champion.

Huge props are also in order for Bruna Kajiya, who finished 2nd in Chile, despite an injured knee, taking 2nd overall in the 2007 Freestyle Rankings, behind 13-year old Gisella Pulido (#1).

Congratulations also to Sami Gali (Best, Spain) who finished 2nd Overall in the first-year-on-the-tour discipline of Course Racing.
