RV SUMMER TOUR 2007: Cape Cod to Buffalo
Tuesday, June 26, 2007: Cape Cod
Tuesday morning we woke to truck generators at a tourist information center on Cape Cod. We headed off after some coffee and breakfast to find a RV park to settle into for the next couple of days. After taking care of some much needed business (dumping the tanks, and servicing the RV) we needed some time on the water. The wind was strong and gusty but Jake was having a blast jumping off the sand dunes!
Wednesday, June 27, 2007: Easton, Mass.
Little Overhead Surf Shop was our next scheduled demo, although it turned out to be quite a bust. We were warned it might be a problem doing a demo in this small town, but when we showed up at the beach there was no one even around to demo. So, we decided to ride and apparently it appeared as though we were up to no good, because the cops showed up at the shop and said we had to leave!
Thursday, June 28, 2007: Buffalo
The next day we had a 10hr. trip from The Cape to Buffalo where I put the guys up at my house for the weekend. Friday we met up with Bill Myers from Myers KiteSurfing .
The forecast wasn’t looking too good for the weekend, but Shawn (a local rider here) said, “Tomorrow is my birthday and I can guarantee you wind!” Well, Shawn was right and a NW turned to a SW with a thermal boost giving us a solid 20knot day at Hamburg Beach.

Saturday night I said my goodbyes and sent the guys off with some clean clothes and a new backgammon set. I watched the RV as it drove away, taking some tree branches along with it. This was an experience I’ll never forget!
