Harry Grufter Continues to Report from Brazil
Posted Thursday 27th September
It's been a really busy past week for the crew down here in Pecem. Bill left. Bucky arrived. Alvaro left and then arrived again. Stacey is here. Team rider house has changed. The internet has taken a break. Sliders were built. Cars were shared. All systems go as usual.
Alvaro final testing
Mark Dixon, Revolution Kiteboarding
Bucky arrived with the new Waroo's for the final final final testing and they look great. Isma loves the Waroo's and he's been ripping on them every afternoon.
It was Bucky's first visit and he was amazed by the wind and locations in the area. Thanks Bucky, for all your help with the shooting and the kites!
Over the Shack
Alvaro left for the competition up north which he cemented his 3rd place finish for the year. Congratulations, Tiger. Thanks for coming back to shoot on the Waroo's for one last day and good luck in Chile!
Alvaro slim chance
Stacey arrived for a few days and managed to help us have a few drinks as Isca Do Sol one evening. It turned out to be a messy one ... I say no more ...
(Ed. Note:The editor objects to the fact that her name, in almost every paragraph in which it appears, is invariably linked with the words "drinks" and "messy." ~S.)
Drinks at Isca, before insanity ensued
Just one drink, on the way over to the bar.
With the slider at the top edge of the lagoon the buys have been hitting that in the afternoons to change things up a little. Nice job Lil's Alex.
Apart from that. Taiba is still there. Its still windy and there will be more action next week.
More soon from Harry Grufter and Taiba.
