Roving Brazilian Reporter Harry Grufter updates from Ceara 14/08/07
Posted August 16th, 2007
Returning to Brazil’s North East to report on the Best Team’s progress in early August, it was easy to see how popular this part of the world is becoming for kiteboarders. As Taiba Lagoon slowly filled up with water, so did the crowds as they trickled in from all over the world to catch the early season breeze. One thing more certain than the popularity of the riding locations is the wind: 20-35 knots everyday is the one guarantee you can rely on with Cauipe, Taiba and Paracuru, all offering strong winds and warm weather for the Best Team to finalize the testing for the 08 gear. Alex, Jeff and Peter have all been there for several weeks working on this process and by the way the guys were riding, it looks quite clear that this year’s kites are going to be better than ever.
