Flown bags: The kite´s second life

The flown project was created based on a simple thought: to kiters like us, it just feels bad to throw away kites, even if they are broken, smashed or worn out. Why? Well there are 2 sides to it:

Emotions! Talk to any sport passionate person in the world and ask him how it feels to get rid of his/her bellowed toy, the response is clear…

Conscience. If we look at Kitesurfing as an outdoor activity, we realize that Kiting is just our way to enjoy what we are inevitably bound to…nature. This is why we should try to minimize our impact on it, whilst enjoying without compromises.

Flown is just a small step, but it feels like going in the right direction!

The idea to build bags out of recycled stuff is not new but Dacron and Ripstop seem to be perfect materials for the matter. This is why Flown decided to work together with Bestkitebaording as a provider and Demano, a Barcelona based company, which specialized in the production of recycled bags.
