PRODUCT SAFETY ALERT: Kahoona flying line attachment- color coding.
The first batch of Kahoona kites delivered to customers were made with colored front bridle attachments and grey wingtip pigtail lines. This color arrangement is reversed compared to the layout of the flying lines on the Red-Line Bar. This has been corrected in subsequent production.
In some instances dealers have noted that customers have incorrectly attached the center lines of their Red-Line bar to the back flying attachments on their Kahoona kites, due to following the color coding of the flying lines and kite attachment points. Following the instructions in the diagram and written below will ensure correct attachment of flying lines.
Regardless of the color of your flying lines and kite attachment points the center lines from the bar must always be attached to the front bridle of the kite, and the outside lines of the bar must always be attached to the wingtip pigtails on the rear of the kite.
Color corrected front bridle attachments will be made available to all customers of affected kites as soon as possible.
