Solid Airframe Construction:
New for 2008, all LE strut joints are laser shaped and cut, then reinforced with Kevlar tape. There is no better way to connect the leading edge to the struts. Our construction gives the stiffest and lightest airframe available. This helps make the ’08 Yarga the most responsive and predictable kite you will ever ride.
Load Flex LE Seam
For ’08, the load flex seam receives additional mark cloth internal reinforcement along with additional stitch reinforcement. Our unique three-layer webbing taped LE seam delivers the strongest LE on any inflatable kite. There is simply no stronger or cleaner seam construction.
Double reinforced back line attachments:
We know that you are going to ride this kite hard, so we’ve strengthened every contact area on the kite. The rear line attachment webbing is given its own pocketed sleeve in the wingtips then finished off with two layers of reinforced stitching.
Trailing edge battens:
A flutter free canopy generates smoother airflow for faster turning so the Yarga receives our trailing edge battens as standard.
Standard Inflation System:
For riders who value simplicity over convenience and simply want the best bang for their buck, the ‘08 Yarga still comes with a standard inflation system. We’ve upgraded to membrane vales and included valve sticks on every strut.
Mark cloth Canopy Protection:
Lightweight Mark cloth provides durable upper canopy protection covering the canopy sections directly above the struts.
Dacron Wing Tip Panels:
Multi-layer Dacron wingtip panels distribute turning forces for unmatched responsiveness and enable self-launching without risk of damage. Flying line contact points are shielded with an additional layer of ABC guard cloth.
CFT Reinforced Trailing Edge:
Like all kites in our ‘08 range, the ’08 Yarga benefits from our exclusive CFT reinforced trailing edge, which provides razor-sharp turning response and unbelievable handling. CFT gives the Yarga unmatched durability, even if you leave it lying on the beach between heats.
Kevlar LE elbows:
Wherever the LE is likely to be in contact with the ground or your flying lines we have added extra Kevlar reinforcements for improved durability.

ABC guard cloth pockets with enlarged Velcro fastenings protect the strut ends from abrasion and keeps the bladders locked in place.

Pro-team input has helped create a mid-aspect, high-performance C-kite that is perfectly suited to the task of advancing up the competition ladder. A moderate aspect ratio layout allows the Yarga to be ridden deep into the window for throwing no-whip tricks and powered handle-passes without affecting stability.
Maximizing the width between the wingtip attachment points and ensuring unimpeded airflow across the surfaces of the canopy have helped push the turning speed of the Yarga to the limit. With the bar in your hands you have full control of whether to throw your loops high and huge or low and super committed. Bar pressure is set in the medium to low range, giving you feedback even when you are unhooked and have the kite behind your back.
Our signature reduced-width leading edge construction endows the Yarga with an aggressive aerodynamic profile that allows you to charge upwind between each trick. The 08 Yarga has been designed specifically for riders who want the feel of a direct steering and fast handling C-kite. Built from the ground up for freestyle kitesurfing and competition riding the Yarga benefits the same advanced construction and attention to detail as our entire range.
Even though it is easily possible for an experienced rider to exceed the stated upper wind range in the above wind chart, Best Kiteboarding does not recommend that any rider goes kiteboarding in winds above 35 knots. Always ride safe and within your limits.

Best Kiteboarding splits its research and development across a number of different locations. Our two main bases for R&D are Australia and Brazil. The raw kite design work takes place in Australia for 6 months of the year; the team then decamps to Brazil to test and fine tune the product for the upcoming season.
As we know, we are ultimately serving our customers and we welcome their feedback in early stages of production. Any rider is welcome to come and try the latest prototype products at our Brazil R&D facility throughout the year. When you are there, you will likely get to meet most of the team who put together the entire range of Best Kiteboarding products each season. It really is one big happy family.
In between all this testing are numerous trips back and forward to various production facilities around the globe. Kite production in Asia is closely overseen with every step/change being overlooked by the designer, Peter Stiewe, to make sure that every single kite that comes off the production line is exactly as it was intended. Numerous trips and conferences with our materials suppliers take place during the season as new cloths are developed and tested and put into production. Our particularly close relationship with Cubic Tech Corp enables us to develop small runs of advanced fabric for use in our Pro-range of kites to deliver the ultimate technical performance.
When near-final versions of kites have been made, small batches are then shipped out to testers across the USA and Europe, we put the kites in the hands of the toughest and most demanding riders on the planet, not just competitive riders, but also beginners who have an entirely different set of demands. Only when a product has been refined and tuned to perfection does it make its way into production and onto the shelves of our dealers worldwide.
For all of our kites, we demand the highest quality fabrics and components, the finest levels of production control and quality assurance. We would not settle for anything less, and neither should you.
