Our new LE bridle and depower system deliver more than just increased depower from reduced bar travel. A dual short-throw pulley system optimizes load distribution between the wingtips and the center of the LE, giving a more rigid and stable kite that delivers less pitching, ensuring that stability remains unaffected by depower. VP2 offers the reduced-throw benefits and increased turning rate of a 2:1 rear line pulley system, with no back line pulleys and no increased bar pressure.

E-Z PUMP™ TOTAL INFLATION SYSTEM
The E-Z pump™ inflation system allows one-shot inflation of the entire airframe of the kite. Revised for the Nemesis HP, the new E-Z pump™ system comes with standard inflate and high volume deflate valves. There is no more reliable total inflation system available.
CANOPY FRAMING TECHNOLOGY
Crashing your kite is a fact of life. The Nemesis HP is the only high performance kite designed with Canopy Framing Technology - the ultimate reinforcement system. The entire perimeter of each canopy panel on the Nemesis HP is supported with a continuously curved reinforcement zone, isolating the canopy from impact loads and delivering durability based on sound engineering.
LOAD FLEX LE SEAM
For ’08, the load flex seam receives additional mark cloth internal reinforcement along with additional stitch reinforcement. Our unique three-layer webbing taped LE seam delivers the strongest LE on any inflatable kite. There is simply no stronger or cleaner seam construction.
SOLID AIRFRAME CONSTRUCTION
New for ’08, all LE strut joints are laser cut, shaped and reinforced with Kevlar tape. There is no better way to connect the leading edge to the struts. TEIJIN RIP-STOP CANOPY
If you want to cut corners you can buy cheaper fabric, but you certainly can not use anything better. We use Teijen Rip-Stop for our canopy material, as there is no better rip-stop cloth available.
DACRON WINGTIP PANELS
Multi-layer Dacron wingtip panels distribute turning forces for unmatched responsiveness and enable self-launching without risk of damage. Increased surface area at the wingtips gives greater turning agility, while our curved wingtip profile improves aerodynamics and eliminates vortex-induced drag.

The Best Kiteboarding R&D program takes place all over the world. Our two main research and development facilities are in Western Australia and Brazil. Product development takes place in Australia for 6 months of the year, the team then moves onto Brazil for further testing, while some members travel the Globe for the rest of the year fine tuning product for the upcoming season.
Direct customer feedback plays an important role in the development of every Best Kiteboarding product, that’s why you are welcome anytime at our Brazil R&D facility to come and try the latest products under development. While you are there, there is a good chance you will get to meet many of the team who are responsible for your favorite products every season. Take the time to stop them and chat, we really do value your feedback.
Alongside our demanding testing schedule are numerous visits to each one of our production facilities. Kite production is closely overseen by our designer Peter Stiewe, with each step/change being verified on location to make sure that every kite produced is exactly as it was intended. Numerous conferences take place with our materials suppliers every season, as new cloths are developed, tested and readied for possible production. Our particularly close relationship with Cubic Tech Corp has enabled us to develop a range of advanced technical fabrics that have allowed our HP and older Pro range of kites to deliver unmatched technical performance.
When near-final versions of kites have been made, small batches are shipped out to testers across the USA, Europe, South Africa and Australia. We put all of our kites into the hands of the toughest and most demanding riders on the planet, not just competitive riders, but riders of all ages and all levels who each have a completely different set of requirements. Only when each kite has been refined and tuned to perfection do they make their way into production and onto the shelves of our dealers worldwide.
